A crucial step when moving into an assisted living or memory care community is understanding the costs associated with these senior living services. The team members at our Dominion Senior Living communities are more than willing to help you understand your options and if you qualify for any financial aid for assisted living or memory care.
#1 ALL-INCLUSIVE PRICING
Our communities offer a simplistic approach to pricing, an all-inclusive monthly fee dependent on which service line the resident needs. There is one cost associated with assisted living services and one cost associated with memory care. No tiered pricing. This means the resident’s rate will not increase even when more care is required, the rate remains the same. Some of our communities even offer select ancillary hospitality services like transportation, salon services, and guest meals.
#2 CONSIDER YOUR OPTIONS
Take time to consider the costs associated with all senior living options including living on your own, having a family caregiver, or transitioning into a senior living community. Remember the unique and added benefits that come with moving into a senior living community like emergency call systems, 24-hour staffing, and social engagements with team members and other residents.
#3 FINANCIAL AID FOR ASSISTED LIVING AND MEMORY CARE
Because every family’s financial situation is unique, it’s important to consider all sources of income that can cover the cost of senior living. If you have questions about how to pay for senior living, it’s best to talk with a trusted financial advisor. They can accurately advise you on traditional forms of payment like real estate, investments, 401(k)s, insurance policies, and IRAs. In addition to those, they may also have information on government options like Veterans benefits, Medicare and Medicaid eligibility. If you have questions on the types of financial aid we accept, please contact a Dominion Senior Living community directly.
